Meet Ali

Founder & Head Instructor
Born and raised in Hurghada, the Red Sea has always been part of Ali’s life. What began as a connection to the place he calls home became a passion for diving – and eventually the idea behind Scuba Fox.
​
With more than 15 years of professional experience as a PADI and SSI Instructor, Ali knows the Red Sea both above and below the surface. He has guided and trained divers at every level – from their very first breath underwater to advanced and professional training.
​
For Ali, great diving isn’t about simply taking people underwater. It’s about understanding the person behind the mask. Every diver is different, and his calm, personal approach allows him to adapt each experience to individual needs, confidence and ability – whether working with experienced divers, young divers or in adaptive diving.
​
That philosophy is at the heart of Scuba Fox: local knowledge, personal service, small groups and professional guidance – with plenty of fun along the way.

The Red Sea is his home.

From Switzerland to the Red Sea – part of Scuba Fox above and below the surface.
Tina’s connection to diving began at 17, when she spent her school holidays working at a dive centre in Greece, where she completed her Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications.
​
Today, she is based in Switzerland, where she works as a medical doctor, and spends selected periods of the year in Egypt.
In the Red Sea, she completed her Rescue Diver and Divemaster training with Ali and became part of Scuba Fox – both in the water and behind the scenes.
​
Tina takes care of the website, social media, administration and brand development, and joins the diving team as a Divemaster when in Egypt. Her medical background also brings an additional perspective to safety, individual needs and adaptive diving.
​
Switzerland is home.
The Red Sea keeps calling her back.
