Meet Ali
Founder & Head Instructor

Born in Hurghada, at home in the Red Sea – the face behind Scuba Fox.
Ali grew up in Hurghada and has been working as a professional instructor and guide for 10 years. He knows the local waters, conditions and dive sites from years of experience and has a strong network in the area.
When Ali is diving, he is focused, precise and always aware of the people with him. He takes safety seriously and likes things to be done properly, while making sure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys their time underwater.
As a PADI and SSI Instructor, he has taught and guided everyone from complete beginners to experienced divers and those continuing their training. He adapts to the person in front of him and gives each diver the attention they need.
Scuba Fox reflects the way Ali likes to work: small groups, personal attention and no feeling of being just another guest.
Hurghada is home.
The Red Sea is where he belongs.

Tina’s connection to diving started at 17, when she spent her school holidays working at a dive centre in Greece and completed her Open Water and Advanced Open Water certifications. Years later, she returned to diving in Egypt and completed her Rescue Diver and Divemaster training with Ali.
Today, Tina supports Scuba Fox mainly from Switzerland, taking care of the website, social media, administration and much of what happens behind the scenes. When she is in Egypt, she also joins Ali in the water as a Divemaster.
As a medical doctor, she brings another perspective to individual needs and adaptive diving. Mindfulness, body awareness and holistic approaches are also part of her work and are reflected in her Women’s Dive Retreat project in El Gouna.
Switzerland is home.
The Red Sea keeps calling her back.
